Reebok U: Monday

The first session's in the books and the poster boys got it done again, while Coach K watched two Florida young guns...

Renardo Sidney and Brandon Jennings

It was a 76-68 win to start the day as Jennings scored 28 points on 27 shots (10/27, 2/9 3PT, 6/8 FT) and the big boy Sidney fouled out with eight points. We caught Jennings pull a three-pointer over Fortson and go by him a handful of times in the final minutes of the first half. He's playing off the ball here with Isaiah Thomas running the point. Thomas had seven assists, five rebounds and 11 points in front of his college coach. Fortson finished with 16 points (5/12 FG, 1/3 3PT, /7 FT) and 3 assists.

Some coaches we left out from yesterday: Mark Gottfried (Alabama), Bruce Weber (Illinois), Al Skinner (Boston College), Jay Wright (Villanova), Travis Ford (UMass), Phil Martelli (St. Joe's).

Making their way in today: Mike Kryzewski (Duke), Kelvin Sampson (Indiana), Todd Bozeman (Morgan State), Herb Sendek (Arizona State), Matt Doherty (SMU), Tubby Smith (Minnesota), Lorenzo Romar (Washington), Jamie Dixon (Pitt) and Bob Huggins (WVU).

We know Dixon was watching his commit Ashton Gibbs, Romar the same with his kid Isaiah Thomas, but following the eyes of Coach K it was clear he was looking at Kenny Boynton and Brandin Knight. Boynton scored 19 points (8/19 FG, 1/6 3PT, 2/2 FT) while Knight had an off game with two points and two assists to three turnovers.

Gibbs scored 13 points (3/10, 1/3 3PT, 6/7 FT) in the 76-73 win against Boynton and Knight's squad.
