Good news, bad news for OU

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- At the 16:25 mark of the second half, Courtney Paris finally snagged her seventh rebound of the game to become OU's all-time leader in career boards.

Unfortunately for the Sooners, that is hardly enough to stop Maryland. The Terps bounced back from a brief Oklahoma burst to hit back to back threes to go up 20 points. After another bucket pushed the advantage to 55-33, Sooners coach Sherri Coale called a timeout.

Most people expected a far better contest than this between these two teams. Right now, it's looking decidedly like a blowout. Maryland appears to have too many weapons for Oklahoma to handle, both inside and outside.
