RU Has A Lead

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers is a team on a mission right now and the crowd is backing them on their journey.

With 7:20 to play, Epiphanny Prince hit her second 3-pointer in a row to give the Scarlet Knights their first lead since about 16 minutes left in the first half.

Rutgers had cut the lead down to 42-40, but Marissa Coleman responded with a huge three, making it a five-point game. But that's when Prince went off for her back-to-back trifectas. The sophomore guard has 15 points to lead all scorers.

Maryland is shooting just 20 percent in the second half. After shooting 62 percent in the opening stanza, that is a big reason the Terps have let the Knights back in.
