Coleman leads Terps run before half

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Maryland's Marissa Coleman had quite an exciting end to the first half, scoring seven straight points from the Terps, including a 3-pointer after which she jawed a bit at the Carmichael Auditorium crowd. That helped the Terrapins tie the game at 33 before the Tar Heels responded and went to the locker room with a 37-33 lead.

Carolina enjoyed most of its success inside, scoring 12 of its 17 field goals in the paint. Erlana Larkins and LaToya Pringle combined to shoot 9 for 13 for 18 points. Coleman's 13 points lead the Terps.
