C-USA: The Show Wraps Up

By David Scott - October 19, 2006

MEMPHIS - Coach John Calipari took the CSTV stage to a rousing ovation from his assembled group of Cal's Pals.

Joining Cal were sophomores Robert Dozier and Antonio Anderson, the latter of whom was raving about the potential starting point guard of Willie Kemp.

* Our plan for Friday is to offer up a re-cap and some final thoughts on our 36-hour visit to the Bluff City (Memphis). You can check in around lunch time for some leftovers.

* We finally had to kick young Bradley Calipari out of the Old No. 7 for a transgression so heinous we almost fear the reporting of it: Taking off his UMass sweatshirt, Bradley revealed a white Yankees t-shirt emblazoned with Derek Jeter's name. No true UMass supporter would wear that rag to take out the trash, much less to a public event.

Bradley was sent on his way with his tail between his legs.

* Thanks for joining us and be sure to check back next week when Hang Time heads to Las Vegas for Mountain West Media Day.
