Eagles Ease Ahead

By David Scott - November 25, 2006

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - BC has built its lead in the second half of the first 20 minutes and holds a 32-25 lead with 3:52 left. The Eagles are shooting 50 percent from the field and have been aided by the three-ball.

Sean WIlliams has been active on both sides of the court, but is again dominating on the defensive end.

. . . URI comes into the game with 93 turnovers in five games (18.6 per game); BC has turned it over 44 times in three games (14.6). Through the 3:52 mark, URI has eight turnovers to seven for BC.

. . . The upper bleachers at Conte are about two-thirds filled and open seats in the lower bowl are also still open. BC fans are reknown for band-wagonning when the team is doing well, usually later on in conference play. Wednesday night should be an exception as a talented Michigan State team visits the Eagle - and Hang Time will be here to bring you the flavor and the feel of that ACC-Big Ten challenge game.
