Eagles in Cruise Control

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Rams were decidedly spunkless coming out of the locker room to start the second half. A runway clapping circle was awfully quiet - more golf clap than motivational - and the Rams seems a bit despondent to open the second twenty.

BC's Sean Williams started out with a big boy block in the first minute of this half as well. Talk about setting a tone. Williams was credited with three blocks, two steals, an assist and four rebounds. He then blocked another one just under the 18:00 minute mark.

. . . BC leads 53-38 with 15:26 left in the game.

. . . We need to belatedly commend the Atlantic 10 for its first-ever honoring of a team as the league's "Player of the Week." Duquesne, which started the 2-0 (and is now 2-2) notched the honor last week, as a tribute to the turmoil the team has been through since the September shooting in Pittsburgh that rocked the campus and the college basketball world.

. . . Today's referees are Jim Haney, Les Jones and Bryan Kersey, the son of NBA reffing legend, Jess.
