BC Imposing Its Will on Maryland at Half

By David Scott - December 10, 2006

CHESNUT HILL, Mass. - Maryland, which averages three-and-a-half more rebounds per game than the Eagles (40.0-36.4) has been getting out-rebounded on both ends of the floor and the result is a 38-29 halftime deficit for the Terps.

BC completely outplayed the Terps in the first twenty minutes and you wouldn’t want to be a fly on the Terps locker room wall when Gary Williams gets a hold of his club. He could be peeling paint right now.

. . . BC was led in the first half by Tyrese Rice’s 12 points and Dudley’s 11. Maryalnd was led by James Gist’s 8 points and Bambale Osby’s six..

. . . We’ll be back in a few with halftime stats and observations. . . and probably a press room cookie or two from the fine BC catering folks.
