Providence Juiced Early

By David Scott - January 04, 2007

PROVIDENCE - Providence is attacking the offensive glass early with Jonathan Kale and Herbert Hill aggressively hitting the rim. Marquette has come out ice cold with Dominic James missing two 3’s early.

The Friars have jumped out to a 10-2 lead at the first media timeout, with 15:37 left in the half.

. . . Dwain Williams got the start for PC in place of Sharaud Curry and David Cubillan replaced Jerel McNeal for MU. Jonathan Kale also made his first career start for PC. Williams nailed a top of the key 3-pointer to build the PC lead to 10-2.

. . . The Dunk has filled up nicely with mostly end zone seating still available (and vacant because of the student’s break).
