BC Continues to Lead

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – With under eight minutes to go in the game, BC maintains a 64-50 lead and has started to run clock on each possession. The Hokies have not been able to get it under 14 points, despite some much better team play in the second half. They hodl a seven point scoring edge int he second half.

. . . The BC threesome of Jared Dudley (18), Tyrese Rice (16) and Sean Marshall (10) have combined for 44 of BC’s 62 points and, through the 10:28 mark of the half are outscoring the entire Hokie team, 44-43.

. . . BC freshman Tyler Roche is starting to give Skinner some good, mistake-free minutes and is a deep threat - he had four 3-pointers vs. Hartford for his career best 12 points.

. . . Some scoreboard watching; Rhode Island got a big road win with a 45-44 victory at Fordham in the A-10. Georgia Tech continues to take it to Clemson I the second half, with a 13 point lead midway through the second half. And, Iona and Rider are underway in New Rochelle, NY, as the Gaels look for their first win of the season.
