Blue Devils Extend lead to Six

By David Scott - February 14, 2007

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The ever-emerging Tyrese Rice continues to show his improved game skills - both in terms of game management and shot selection. He leads BC with 13 points in the half. Duke leads 35-29 with 3:41 left in the half. It is Duke’s biggest lead of the game.

Rice, a sophomore, can both penetrate and shoot the jumper and he’s getting better at using one to set up the other.

. . . Josh McRoberts (10 points) is pounding the offensive boards for the Blue Devils and the team as a whole is going inside a whole lot.

. . . Some tremendous ball movement from the Blue Devils in the early going, with great inside-out passing and good location of the open shooter.
