Mini-Orange Losing Ground

By David Scott - February 05, 2007

STORRS, Conn. - Terrence Roberts picked up his fourth foul for Syracuse with 14:20 left in the game, necessitating the re-insertion of Matt Gorman by Jim Boeheim. Syracuse is now going with its extra-small line-up of Andy Rautins, Paul Harris, Eric Devendorf, Demetris Nichols and Gorman.

UConn almost immediately capitalized with a block on Devendorf by Hasheem Thabeet, leading to a fast break and a put-back for the 44-41 lead with 12:21 left in the game.

The Huskies need to continue to hammer the ball inside and use the exisitng height advantage to wear down the mini-Orange (they're more like Tangerines at this point).
