A-10: Raining Indoors

By Matthew Shapiro - March 07, 2007

ATLANTIC CITY - It may be snowing outside, but in here, it's raining threes. I will get the official numbers as soon as I can get them, but the game seems to be all about three-pointers, with each team relying heavily on the three-ball. It's really no surprise coming from Charlotte, as they led the A-10 during the regular season with 8.72 threes per game. It's more of a shock coming from Dayton, however, as they were ninth in the conference with 6.21 trifectas per contest.

On another note, I think I have been placed in the North Carolina section of the media tables. I'm directly in front of the Charlotte crowd, so to me, it seems like the 49'ers are competing in the final four. These fans travel pretty well. And how do I know that they're not just 49er fans who live in south Jersey? Well, I don't know too many people from around here who would scream out "Lets go fourty-nahhhhhners. Best in the A teeeeyyyyynn!" It's hard to tell which way the overall crowd is leaning, but I'd have to say its more of a Dayton building right now.
