ACC: Terrapin, Stationary

Maryland's deficit is just 12 points but the lackluster and imprecise play that has characterized this first half has Gary Williams irate. On the last series, a nifty D.J. Strawberry pass caromed off a cutting James Gist's hands and Miami's James Dews put down a three-pointer on the subsequent transition to give the 'Canes a 29-17 advantage. If this keeps up much longer, Williams might have to put in a visit to the Next Generation Hair Restoration Clinic on Kennedy Boulevard that I passed on my way from the airport to the Forum.
