ACC: Terrapins Moving Slow Today

By - March 08, 2007

I don't even want to know what Gary Williams said to his kids at halftime and I'm sure his mother doesn't either. The Terrapins look like they didn't get any sleep last night.

Maryland got taken behind the woodshed on the glass during the first 20 minutes as the Hurricanes staked a 21-14 rebounding advantage (and 9-3 on the offensive boards). The Terps also committed 10 turnovers to Miami's six. The result? Miami attempted 12 more shots from the floor and used those extra chances to open a 13-point halftime lead. (A 6-for-12 performance from the charity stripe didn't help matters.)
