Big XII: Today's Quick Notes

We've had four very intriguing games today at the Ford Center, and here's some facts to close today's session of the 2007 Big XII Tournament...

Kansas vs. Oklahoma

*- For the 28th straight game, Kansas has held their opponents to under 50 percent shooting from the field. (OU shot 31 percent for the game).
* - Kansas advances to the semifinal round for the 10th time in 11 Big XII tournaments.

Kansas State vs. Texas Tech

*- With his huge performance today, Texas Tech forward Jarrious Jackson became the Big XII's all time tournament scoring leader. He has scored 175 points during his career in the Big XII Tournament.
*- Texas Tech set all-time tournament lows in free throw attempts (7), rebounds (25), and points (45)
*- Kansas State advances to play Kansas. In Big XII Tournament history, K-State is 0-5 against KU.

Oklahoma State vs. Texas A&M

*- Texas A&M has struggled in the tournament, going 1-11 in Big XII tournament history.
*- Texas A&M is now 25-2 in games they led at halftime.
* - Oklahoma State's Mario Boggan made his fourth game-winning basket of the year for the Pokes. He's made game-winning shots against Pitt, Texas, and Texas Tech this season before the game tonight.

Texas vs. Baylor

*- Durant's 29 points were the most by any player in Big XII Tournament history
*- The 20 point comeback was the largest in Big XII Tournament history
*- Texas faces Oklahoma State tomorrow. The teams are even at 2-2 when facing each other in the tournament
