Buffalo: Points Hard to Come By

By David Scott - March 15, 2007

We sit at 20-19 at the half with ODU leading. The record for fewest combined points in a Tournament game in the modern era came in 1984 when georgetown beat SMU 37-36. The overall lowest combined total is 46 in 1941 when Pitt beat UNC, 26-20. The top nine fewest points scored combined came before 1947.

. . . Butler's AJ Graves has really is a complete player. He's leading the Bulldogs in scoring with 6 and rebounding with 4 from his point guard position.

. . . The Duke radio team technician has been setting up his equipment for this entire half and he's still not even close to finished. He basically has an entire radio station's hardward with him. I think I just saw him pull out an 8-track deck. Duke does everything their own special way, don't they.

. . . This game is low scoring, even for a football game.

. . . Washington State is now pulling away from Oral Roberts and the other games are getting big cushions as well with Georgetown up 13 at half and Texas A&M up 13. So you know you'r egoing to need to stick with us.
