Buffalo: The Sloppy, the Inspired and the Confounding

By David Scott - March 15, 2007

Pitt has re-extended to a 35-27 lead with 3:01 left and we've got some sloppy play going on, some inspired play going on and some confounding play going on.

The sloppy: Consecutive turnovers on four straight possessions between the two teams.

The inspired: Wright State has come back from 13 down to tie the game.

The confounding: Pitt's big man - the biggest man on either roster - Aaron Gray has just four points and has barely been touching the ball. When he does, he makes it looks easy, even with a collapsing triple team by the Raiders.

. . . Wright State is being led by its leading scorer on the year, DaShaun Wood who has seven points.
. . . Tonight's sneaker battle is between adidas (Pitt) and Nike (Wright State).
