CAA: Dragons-Huskies Tip In Two Minutes

By David Scott - March 03, 2007

RICHMOND - First, a bit of an explanation on some technical issues: we're experiencing a few difficulties in the immediacy of our postings. But fear not, we'll persevere and get you timely updates as often as humanly possible.

The Coliseum has cleared out for the most part and the remaining crowd is most definietly pro-Drexel (Northeastern's fans are still adjusting to being in the CAA). Drexels' student section dwarfs that of Northeastern's, which may have been able to make the trip in a Volkwagen Beetle.

. . . Post-game comments from the VCU players and coach Anthony Grant was mostly reserved and business-like. Grant had no update on Jesse Pellot-Rosa's status, other than to say it was likely an "arch strain" and he would be re-evaluated this afternoon and tomorrow. Grant said he saw no need to push Pellot-Rosa into the Georgia State game's seocnd half, preferring to have him rest the ailing foot (right, we believe).

. . . Grant just walked behind press row and took congratulatroy handshakes form the VCU supporters remaining.
