CAA: No. 6 on the Verge of Knocking off No. 3

By David Scott - March 03, 2007

RICHMOND - Our first legit upset of the CAA Tournament is upon us and of course, it's those lovable, huggable, George Mason Patriots who are providing the mini-upset.

With 3:37 left in the game, Mason holds onto a 58-50 lead and both teams are having trouble scoring the ball - which is much more of a problem for the Pride at this point.

. . . Should things remain the same, Masonwill face ODU, a team it has lost two twice this season - once by a bucket (at ODU) and once by 10 points (Feb. 3 at home). The game is set to tip at 5:30 on Sunday.

. . . Lindsay was just hating on Fergie, which is not that much of a sin. But since Lindsay was bragging about roast beef sandwiches, we're going to have to go to bat for our long-legged friend, Fergie. Sure, she's overkill in the worst way. But jeez - those legs.

Okay, we feel better now.
