CAA: Slow Start

By David Scott - March 03, 2007

RICHMOND - The very first thing you'll notice about Northeastern is how empty their bench is - they travel with 10 players and have at least four empty seats on the far end of the bench. Hang Time is thinking about sneaking over and seeing if Bill Coen will insert us for a some rebounding prowess.

Drexel has started off with an 8-5 lead and six of the Dragons' points have come form Frank Elegar. Bashir Mason has the other two points.

. . . Not a lot of energy in the building and the Dragon dance team (directly in our line of view) seems a bit disinterested at the moment. Mario the Dragon is likewise unmoved.

. . . Fellow CSTV contributor Phil Kasiecki is likely following along proudly as his alma mater attempts to pull the surprise. In the early going, it looks like Coen could use a sharp-shooter like Philly K to join forces with Matt Janning. The K Man can really stroke it, from what we've heard.
