Lexington: Cardinals Pull Ahead

By - March 17, 2007

Jerry Smith's three-pointer pulled Louisville even with the Aggies at 56 apiece.

Seven-footer David Padgett just picked up his fourth foul for the Cardinals but Marlon Pompey missed both foul shots to keep the score knotted.

On Louisville's next possession, Edgar Sosa put the Cards ahead with a three-ball in front of the TAMU bench.

In the eight games I've seen since the first game of the trip -- Louisville-Stanford on Thursday afternoon -- I've forgotten how ear-splittingly loud place can get when a home crowd is engaged.

I am not especially a fan of either Louisville or A&M, but your play by play guy sounds like he will go straight to the rapture if Louisville hits one more 3. Did he go to school at Louisville? It is bothersome enough that I've left the tv to write this. Enthusiasm is wonderful, just spread it around. I'm in "the business" and I'm a little embarrassed for you right now. So maybe if you stopped yelling, your bias wouldn't be quite so bothersome.
