Lexington: Three Interesting Numbers

By - March 15, 2007

Three numbers that jump out from the OSU-CCSU box:

  • Central Connecticut State attempted almost as many threes (26) as twos (27).

  • Zero ties or lead changes. The Bucks led this one from wire to wire.

  • Ohio State's bench outscored CCSU's reserves, 22-0. (Bear in mind the Blue Devils dress nine players and employ a six-man rotation. Do they pay these guys overtime?)

Also worth mentioning that the NEC champs played the Buckeyes to a tie after the break, 40-40.
