Meadowlands: For $30 a Day, You Too Can Have Internet Issues

By David Scott - March 23, 2007

We'll have to make our weekly blanket statement to cover for the fact that despite paying $30 per day to the NCAA for Internet access, we are experiencing a brutally slow connection from our "media overflow" seating spot. The useless telecommunications personnel have basically explained that we're S.O.L. Thanks for your help, folks.

Beyond that, we have also have still photographers inexplicably stationed IN FRONT of us, standing, and obscuring our view of the court. If you're sensing our frustration, you're probably onto something.

. . . A Hoya fan dressed in a Scooby-Doo outfit and a No. 33 Patrick Ewing shirt just ambled by our perch looking for Scooby snacks. We suggested he go bite the telecommunications haters.
