Matt Shaw had a rough game, but he made the big play when he had to. He tipped in Jamaal Tatum's miss with 3.2 seconds left go give SIU a 53-51 win.

Bradley tied the game with 16.7 seconds left on a reverse layup by Zach Andrews. That opened up because the Salukis were concentrating on defending the three, which is the Braves' bread and butter.

Southern advances to play the winner of Missouri St and Creighton, which starts in about half an hour.
