MVC: Creighton-Missouri St preview

There could be a lot at stake for the teams in the second semifinal, Missouri St and Creighton. At a minimum, the winner will be ahead of the loser in the NCAA tournament pecking order.

We now interrupt this preview for the singing of God Bless America.

It could end up being an elimination game, depending on what happens in other leagues around the country. We'll have to see where the committee ends up drawing the line.

Don't tell MSU coach Barry Hinson that it's an elimination game though. He blew up at a reporter who asked about that in the postgame yesterday. Hinson said that anyone who doesn't think both of these teams are in the tournament are "idiots."

Creighton swept the regular season, but I like the Bears today. They'll want it more.
