MVC: Tatum warms up

Jamaal Tatum finally got going for SIU in the last 3 minutes of the half. He had two threes and a 15-foot jumper on the baseline for 8 points in the closing minutes, his only points of the half.

Bradley had a chance for the final shot of the half, but Daniel Ruffin threw up a prayer from about 22 feet away a couple of seconds before he had to. The rebound bounced off a Saluki player and went out of bounds to Bradley under the basket with 0.7 seconds left. Will Franklin inbounded by trying the old bounce-the-ball-off-the-back-of-the-defender play, which worked, except that he missed the layup. It was the perfect ending to the half in which both teams missed about half a dozen layups each.
