Pac-10: Back to Basketball

By Jason Owens - March 07, 2007

I just checked out the halftime stats and am shocked to see that OSU, despite facing an 18-point deficit, actually outshot Cal, 47.8 percent to 44.4 percent during the first half. The problem for the Beavers is that Cal had 13 more shots from the field. OSU turned the ball over nine times to just three for the Bears. Cal was also lights-out from behind the arc, hitting 10-of-22 attempts, while Oregon State made just 2-of-10.

If Oregon State's going to get back into this one, it will have to take better care of the ball and find some sort of answer for Ryan Anderson, who logged 20 points and six rebounds on 7-of-10 shooting, including 5-of-7 from behind the arc.
