Pac-10: Bring on the Ducks -- Trojans Win

By Jason Owens - March 10, 2007

After UCLA choked in its first game, USC has done its part to keep the hometown crowd interested in the Pac-10 Tournament. With Gabe Pruitt and his 26 points leading the way, the Trojans more than made up for getting swept by Washington State during the regular season with a 70-61 victory in Friday's conference semifinal.

The win sets up a Saturday championship matchup with Oregon and, perhaps more importantly, brings back the Song Girls for one more appearance at the Staples Center.

So I was really happy for a moment there hearing that my boys are continuing on, but then after seeing that Song Girl shout out, I think I just threw up in my mouth...

Ok -- I get it. That's probably enough about the Song Girls.
