Pac-10: Game of Runs

By Jason Owens - March 08, 2007

Ok -- now it's ASU's turn to make a run. After allowing 15 unanswered points to end the first half, the Sun Devils have come back to take a 39-38 at the 11:51 mark of the second half. Neither team is playing particularly well, but the Sun Devils are making fewer mistakes -- for the time being. Outside of Jon Brockman, who's 5-for-10 from the field, Washington is having an atrocious shooting night. As a team, the Huskies are shooting 33 percent, while Ryan Appleby is the prime offender, shooting 1-of-9 from the field -- most of them ill-advised 3-point shots. Jerren Shipp is the go-to-guy for the Sun Devils with 10 points and 3 assists.

Maybe we'll see some quality basketball from both teams at the same time before this game ends. Probably not.
