Pac-10: Oregon in Control

By Jason Owens - March 08, 2007

In a matchup of two of the country's most perplexing teams, Oregon has taken control of its 4/5 matchup with Arizona with a 34-23 halftime lead. Both teams have starpower and at different points in the season looked like legitimate Final Four threats, but both teams often forget to bring their A-game.

Oregon, behind 45 percent shooting from the field including a 6-of-10 clip from behind the arc, brought its A-game today- at least so far. Arizona, meanwhile, is struggling from the field (9-of-27) and has no answer for Aaron Brooks and his 16 first-half points.
