SEC: Gators Gorging on Georgia

By David Scott - March 09, 2007

The Gators have jumped out 14-0 and they may never look back. At the first media timeout, Georgia already looks as if they maye be done. The Gators are 5 of 6 from the field and Georgia is 0 of 6.

The Bulldogs had three turnovers in less than four minutes and all three were converted into points. The Gator full court press after made baskets is already paying dividends.

. . . A predominantly Florida crowd in the house as the defending national champs have a rather large bandwagon these days.

. . . Florida opened with a turnover on its first possession. On its second possession Joakim Noah hit a nice baby hook in the lane. And the rest has been gravy as Noah has five points to start.

. . . Florida opens in a man-to-man defense with Corey Brewer on Levi Stukes. Georgia is also going man-to-man.
