SEC: Gators Inch Ahead

By David Scott - March 11, 2007

The Gators are showing signs of pulling away, despite several key answers on the offensive end from Arkansas. With under 4:00 to go in the half, the Gators now lead 30-25.

Sonny Weems has eight points for the Hogs, who continue to struggle from international waters (1 of 13 from 3-point land). Weems needs to find help as only Darian Townes and and Steven Hill, among active players, have scored, with four points each. (Michael Washington left with three fouls and nine points.)

. . . Our sneaker battle is being waged with adidas (Arkansas) and Nike (Florida).

. . . It's a pretty clear victory for the Florida cheer/dance teams in this one. Too damn many guys for the Arkansas side! (Hey, if you want balance in that area you'll need to read Lara Boyko or Lindsay Schnell.)
