SEC: Cat Scratch Fever

By David Scott - March 08, 2007

The 'Cats hang on for a 79-67 win and wind up 50 percent from the field for the game (30 of 60), including 9 of 22 from 3-point land.

They won the battle of the boards 34-26 and oustcored the Tide in the pain by the same margin.

. . . We'll work the post-game interview and then be back with you for the tip of No. 6 seed South Carolina and No. 3 seed Arkansas. The winner of this one gets Vanderbilt at 3:15 on Friday.

. . . To get you started, game notes for the next game can be found here for the Gamecocks and her for the Razorbacks.

I wouldn't call having 5 players score in double figures, Morris gets a double double, UK shoots 50% from the field as Kentucky held on by it's claws to win this the game!!! At one time in the 2nd half Alabama trailed by 17 points, yet in the 1st half at one time they lead by 10 points!!!
