SEC: Cats and Fand are Roaring

By David Scott - March 09, 2007

Kentucky's pressure defense has done two things: brought them within a bucket of tying the game and brought the blue-clad faithful back into the game in a large way. With 5:21 left in the game, State clings to a 65-63 lead, but the tide has definitely shifted.

. . . Kentucky's Bobby Perry hit a big 3-pointer with just over seven minutes left to cut the State lead to six points, 63-57. The Cats then caused a turnover on the ensuing State possession, the result of its aggressive full-court pressure.

. . . Both Ramel Bradley and Derrick Jasper have four fouls each for the Cats.
