SEC: Gators Get it Going

By David Scott - March 11, 2007

Florida started the half on a 10-5 run and now leads 46-36 with 14:30 left in the game. Joakim Noah has had the last two Gator hoops on lay-ups and Lee Humphrey nailed a 3-pointer before that to highlight the run.

. . . Al Horford started the half, hit the first Gator field goal of the half and appears to be fine after the scary fall he took at the end of the first half.

. . . With UNC pulling away in the ACC Title game and Florida appearing to do the same here it appears the Committee can go about its final seedings without any further "steals" by surprise teams. Arkansas will still be a question mark, but from what we've seen here this week, the HIgs are playing good ball at the right team and deserve strong consideration. There also needs to be some consideration given to the fact that the Hogs played this game without Charles Thomas, the team's third-leading scorer and top rebounder.
