SEC: Georgia Settles Down after Shaky Start

By David Scott - March 08, 2007

Auburn leads 13-10 with 15:16 left in the half. Auburn has scored all ten of its points in the paint and six of Georgia's points have some from 3-point land (with just one miss from beyond the arc). Billy Humphrey opened the game with a 3-pointer for Georgia.

Auburn the proceeded to make five of its first five shots to go out to an 10-3 lead and before the game was two minutes old, had caused three Georgia turnovers with its full court pressure. Dennis Felton was forced to call a timeout at 18:04.

. . . Tonight's sneaker battle is between Nike (Georgia) and what appears to be AND 1 (Auburn), despite the school not be listing on AND 1's website.
