SEC: Hog Wild

By David Scott - March 10, 2007

Well, the first half of an SEC Football Title game re-match has been achieved with Arkansas' xx-xx win over Mississippi State.

Now we'll have to see if the Florida Gators can hold up their end by defeating Ole Miss in the day-cap which start in about half an hour.

. . . Arkansas got 18 points each from Sonny Weems and Charles Thomas and 15 from Gary Ervin. Thomas had the double-double with 18 and 18 - his career high in rebounds (he had 15 last year against Georgia). State was led by Ben Hansbrough's 12 points and Charles Rhodes had a team-high nine rebounds.

The Hogs outscored the Dogs in the paint, 42-26 and had ten blocks to the Dogs five.
