SEC: Ole Miss Coming Back

By David Scott - March 10, 2007

Despite shooting 3 of 16 from the field, Ole Miss is looking more focused and has cut the Gator lead to 15-8 with 11:20 left in the half.

Bam Doyne has two early fouls for the Rebs.

. . . Rhode Island's un-matched SID, Mike Laprey, checked in after his Rams shot around early this afternoon and he said the boys are intent on making some noise tonight in the A-10 title game against George Washington. Win or lose, Laprey's a champ in our book.

. . . We're on to a 2.75 ounce bag of the Golden Flake Maizetos corn chips, up form the one-ouncers that were being displayed yesterday. In my book, Golden Flake is the MOP of this tournament.

. . . A very close cheer/dance squad battle with the sneaky-good Ole Miss groups playing the role of underdog much like the boys they're cheering for.

. . . Arkansas players just came out of the locker room to take the participating school seats in the endzone and they received a loud round of applause and cheers. There has been no looser team in the tournament this week and the Hogs are playing like world beaters.

. . . The Ole Miss Rebel mascot reminds me of some of the scraggly guys I passed in Centennial Park on my way into the Dome this morning. I'm not hating, I'm just saying. you give that dude a brown paper bag with a 40 oz. bottle in it and he gets arrested in nine out of ten US cities.
