SEC: Ole Miss Stays Within Reach

By David Scott - March 10, 2007

Ole Miss is doing its best to give itself a shot in the second half and did cut the Gator lead to under 10 on a couple of occasions during the latter part of the half. But the Gators capitalized on some late turnovers by Ole Miss and lead 37-22 at the break.

Corey Brewer of Florida leads all scorers with 10 points and Clarence Sanders has nine for Ole Miss. Each side has six turnovers and the Gators lead the board battle 22-19.

. . . Not much opportunity for me to give my "BAM!" exclamations as the Rebels Doyne is 1 of 3 form the field and has just two points.

Ah, screw it. BAM! BAM! BAM!

. . . The Dr. Pepper million dollar shot is coming at half and in honor of the event we have gone back to the Doc Pep for a our beverage of choice during this game. Boy, do we miss the iced tea from upstairs.
