SEC: Spirited Start

By David Scott - March 09, 2007

Some pretty tenacious defense form both sides as we're tied 5-5 heading into the first media timeout of the afternoon.

Each side is 2 of 7 from the field through the first 4:05 of the game and Kentucky has three turnovers in that stretch. Both teams have four of their seven points in the paint.

. . . In the 18:00-area, Charles Rhodes had a fast-break, two-handed dunk opportunity that he missed. he redeemed himself next time down the court on another fastbreak where he laid it in and was fouled, converting his free throw,

. . . Our dance/cheer team battle for this one is semeing to favor the 'Cats although the all white cheer unis of State does give the impression of purity, which we'r ein favor of.
