SEC: Stukes Puts Up His Dukes

By David Scott - March 08, 2007

Georgia's Levi Stukes (the school's season-leader for 3-pointers made and taken) has started off hot for the Bulldogs with 14 points on 5 of 7 from the field, including 4 of 6 from 3-point land. On the strength of two straight Stukes' treys, Georgia has built a six point lead, 25-19, with 10:01 left in the half.

As a team, Georgia is 6 of 9 form beyond the arc, while AUburn is 1 of 7 from international waters.

. . . Georgia's Steve Newman is a dead ringer for tennis star Jim Courier. An oversize Courier, that is. Newman picked up his second personal with just over over 12:00 left in the half. He's been removed by Dennis Felton.

. . . Lots of press row GameTracking of the UCLA/Cal game (now in OT) and, we must admit, a bit of UMass/St. Louis watching too for this Minuteman alum.
