SEC: Tip in Two

By David Scott - March 08, 2007

We're a few minutes from tip and the Georgia Dome is starting to fill up slowly - it's becoming clear that the largest first day draw will be Kentucky when all is said and done. Both Georgia and Auburn have taken the floor and neither team drew much more than a smattering of applause and hollers.

. . . Managed to sneak in our second SEC-provided meal of the day (salad and meatloaf) and we're back on the iced tead which is only served in the upper press box were the buffet line is set-up. It was the bottom of the urn, but we did a nice tip and fill to top off our cup. The plan is to hold off going back to the Doc Pep until tomorrow, if at all possible. Some water will probably do us well.

. . . Ex-SEC commissioner Roy Kramer is sitting at the end of our table section on press row. That might be the extent of our "celebrity" sightings for today. The Thrusday games don't bring out the pretty people as much as Semifinal Saturday and Final Sunday.
