SEC: Tubby Thumping

By David Scott - March 09, 2007

Mississippi State is threatening to run away with this one and Kentucky has vritually no answers. And, if you haven't heard, we could be on the verge of seeing Tubby Smith's final SEC Tourney game as head coach of the Wildcats (we'll leave the rumors to others, but it would not shock us at all to see Smith gone).

State leads 55-43 with 11:33 left in the game and the Bulldogs have managed to go 10 of 12 from the field in the second half after a 12 of 35 first half. Kentucky, meanwhile is ice cold and now 3 of 15 for the second half. State is getting balanced scoring while Randolph Morris continues to carry the Cats.
