SEC: Washington Steps In, Then Out

By David Scott - March 11, 2007

With Charles Thomas out indefinitely, his replacement, freshman Michael Washington, has stepped in and been monstrous int he early going. He leads all scorers with nine points (he averages 2.9 ppg for the season). He is keeping the Hogs competetive as they trail by just two, 15-13, with 10:33 to go in the half. Unfortunately for the Razorbacks, Washington just picked up his third foul and has been replcaed by Vincent Hunter.

Not the team you want to have big man trouble against.

Al Horford leads the Gators with eight points.
