SEC: Wildcats Out in Front

By David Scott - March 09, 2007

Kentucky has built two separate five point leads and holds 15-10 edge with 10:56 left in the half. Three Cats have five points each (Jodie Meeks, Joe Crawford and Randolph Morris). State is being led by Ben Hansborough.

State continues to struggle form the field, shooting 27 percent (4 of 15).

. . . State's Dietric Slater took a nasty spill at the 14:42 mark as he fouled a Wildcat. He basically did a flip and landed on his stomach. he got up and was fine. But it hurt me.

There's been all sort of crazy falls under the State basket. Those towel boys will be busy all day.

. . . You can't imagine how many media members frequent the Jerry Palm collegerpi site during the course of the day. It's a tribute to what our colleague has been able to build and he should be very proud. Have a kinsh on me, JP.
