Winston-Salem: Roy, Roy, Roy

By Matt Meyers - March 15, 2007

Hibbert just scored his 10th point and now has a double-double with 11:27 remaining and Georgetown leading 53-30. His dominance has prompted the Georgetown section to start chanting, "Roy, Roy Roy Roy, Roy Roy Roy" to the tune of the opening notes of "Eye of the Tiger."

Jeff Green got two early fouls and only played 10 minutes in the first half and has not played at all so far in the second. At this point it seems clear that John Thompson III realizes that the Hoyas have this game won and sees it as an opportunity to give Green rest. They are slated to play Boston College on Saturday in the second round and he will probably spend most of the afternoon matched up with Jared Dudley. He is going to need the energy.

Wait, I spoke too soon. He is coming back in the game but I can't imagine for that long.
