Get Ready

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Now the Tar Heels are dancing in groups class-by-class (though redshirt freshman William Graves) got to go with the sophomores. Did somebody say sequins?

Because the junior class is decked out in Carolina blue sequined outfits. But that's not the best part. They came out dancing to The Temptations' "Get Ready"...but no one was ready for Kenny Mann and Liquid Pleasure (a band) to come out on the court and sing it as the players danced.

No one reacted more excitedly than Roy Williams, who jumped out of his seat clapping. And at the end, Mann put a blue sequined jacket on Roy and led him to center court, where the Hall of Fame coach danced with his players.

The next song was Van Halen's "Jump" -- and let's just say that despite some blond wigs on the players, David Lee Roth's job is safe.

The players brought fans onto the floor to dance, including one notable Carolina fan who is at every game holding her stuffed Rameses toy courtside. She shook her thang with Deon Thompson and Alex Stepheson much to the delight of the crowd.
