Interviews Done, Eating To Commence and Then Highlights

By David Scott - October 17, 2007

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One-on-one interviews with players and coaches have just about wrapped up from Big 12 Media Day and we were able to stockpile some tidbits from Rick Barnes of Texas, a couple of his players, some Kansas players' thoughts and also some K State players.

But, and you'll have to forgive us for this, we got trapped in the Knight Zone for a good 40 minutes. The guy is just that good, that it's hard to leave his table.

So, after a brief lunch break, our plan will be to give you the non-Knight info we have picked up and then, at some point before the end of the day Thursday, we'll conclude our KC visit with a column on Knight, the game's all-time winningest coach.

For now, we'd invite you to go over to the league's website for video and quotes from each of the dozen sessions with Big 12 head coaches.

See you in a little while, in the meantime, be sure to enjoy the blogging prowess of my man Kasiecki from the shadow of the White House.
