That's All Folks

WASHINGTON -- To conclude the evening, the men's team did the weave drill, finishing things off on each end with a dunk. Midnight Madness seemed shorter this year than the past two, but it also seemed significantly better.

Between the jersey and banner being unveiled, the dancing, and the dunks, not a bad night on the Hilltop. Right as things were ending, students started yet another "Greg Monroe" chant. Monroe and the other recruits in the house tonight, including but not limited to already-verballed Chris Braswell, Henry Sims and Jason Clark, as well as uncommitted targets like Isaiah Armwood, Hollis Thompson, and Gus Gilchrist had to have been impressed by tonight's event. I was.

No Lil' Wayne, but that is OK.

And on the floor, it is admittedly hard to judge from what was basically a dunk contest, but this team looks like it is going to win a lot, a lot of games.

Georgetown is hosting an after-party in the parking lot, but I'm not sure what that consists of. Rumor has it Roy is hosting a party, too. Time to investigate.

Signing off...
